Did Blizz create their own death?

Personally, being a Diablo fan, I kinda think Blizz created their own death for WoW when they decided to make Dialbo 3. What about you guys? What do you guys/gals think?

I think that there is a larger Diablo fan base and with D3 coming out with all this hype I know its going to kill WOW for me and I know a couple of people on WOW who never played Diable but are going to now. So I don't know for sure but I think WOW will die

if i recall right, D3 isnt really going to be like WoW, just a newer version of the series, seperate style MMO

Imo - If you have seen the WoW WotLK Expansion talents, then you would probably agree with me when I say WoW is starting to be built around some diablo classes.

Warrior 51 Talent Abilities almost mirror those of the Barbarian in Diablo Games, and the Death Knight closely resembles the Witch Doctor (From what I can tell with the Previews for D3).

If anything they will release WotLK in Novemeber, have everyone buy that $50 Expansion than release Diablo 3 and if people switch over they have to pay another $50. Blizzard knows WoW is losing some of it's players - That's why they make all the epics so easily attainable now. If you remember the level 60 days when you had to put 18 hours a day into honor grinding to reach Rank 14, you would know what I am talking about. 40 Man raids took some leadership skills to progress - and then you had to have everyone attuned. Now you can walk into BT / Hyjal with scrubs and get some easy loot.

Yea I miss the good old days. Everyone had to be keyed. I spent hours getting attunements now some noob can power lvl his toon and within a few days be running kara

a game like wow will never die, it make lose a lot of players but there will always be people playing it, take swg for example, everyone thought it would die after nge but its still around and suprisingly its getting better and people are coming back. So never think a game will simply die or vanish, it wont happen.

No I dont think wow will die...way too many people play it, diablo is a different kind of game

I'm a huge fan of Diablo...but I seriously doubt WoW will die anytime soon. I'm betting years from now WoW will still be pulling new players into its realms.
