My account got hacked

Hi, appearently, my account got hacked. The only person I've ever given my account information, password and POL CD-KEY to was Emph and after I PM'd it to him for a transaction between me and another individual, the next day, I was unable to login to my account anymore. At first I thought Emph changed the password and was in the process of looking over my stuff to inform the buyer that what I said regarding my jobs/equipment/skills/craft was accurate; however, when I asked Emph about it, he said he hasn't touched my account yet. Now, I'm not pointing fingers but is this site secure? I hope a key-logger wasn't placed on my account because I called SE today and they said the original account name isn't mine anymore. Is it possible for someone to change my original registered name and password with my POL CD-KEY? This is really bothering me because I really wanted to sell my account and now it's gone and there's no way I can retrieve it.

First off, I sorry that your account was hacked and that sucks hardcore, but iI don't understand how you can change the original name on an account. I can't be done, the Name, Date of Birth, and Date of registration can't be changed, so maybe you had the wrong info or something. (Which is hard to believe since your the OO, or at least had the CD-Keys) Also with keyloggers being everywhere nowadays I don't understand how people are still getting them, Im all over the internet on sites that are suppose to have "keyloggers" and my 19.95$ virus protection does its job. As far as EGS being safe, lets put it like this (not trying to sound harsh just giving facts) MM Emph has had numerous accounts and yours was the unlucky one.

Im just saying try to protect yourself, (virus protection isn't a bad investment) and also if you could keep us updated on how your hacker changed the original name and stuff would be very informative. The good thing about this is if it was keylogged SE can give your account back sorta fast (if you didn't have the information problem). Anyways I wish you good luck on getting your account back, and in my opinion, EGS is a very safe site.

As I told you, I didn't touch your account because you did not post a valid PLIMUS number. Because I couldn't verify that you paid for the service, I can't render the service. It's as simple as that.

Emph didn't use your password, as he's said. I'm sorry about your account loss but that's not Emph's fault. This thread will remain open for further assistance in helping you recover your account, but any more Emph-bashing (forgive the imagery there), isn't an option.
