Western Union for ff11 account transaction

I'm new to selling accounts online and I don't have a paypal account. If I go through the western union route, do I just get the buyer's name and MTC and it should be fine?

You need the general location in which they will be picking it up and their full name. Once it's sent, you just give them the MTCN and they go and pick it up. They have to provide proof of identification and their Social#. I believe that is all. It's very simple.

No I used to be an authorized Western Union seller/distributor, and you do not provide a social security number. As long as the funds sent are under $10,000 (Patriot Act, plus who buys an account for that much?), all you need is:

1) The name of the person (person receiving needs to provide an ID, and any ID will do because sometimes money is sent to people who are younger than 16 and do not have a government issued ID).

2) Approximately where it was sent from/to (IE person cannot pick up the money in nevada if it was sent to CA, and you can't pick it up in Las Angeles if it was sent to San Francisco).

3) Approximately how much was sent (this is approximate, near the actual amount, because of exchange rates it never exact, and sometimes the money is a "gift" so people do not know exactly how much or sometimes people will send extra if they think the person will get hit with fees or whatever).

4) Optional: The MTN (Money transfer number or something like that). Some people do not know the MTN so thats why it can also be looked up by the person's name, and even if you cannot spell it right the computer will give the authorized Western Union person a list of "possible" people that it could be, it will list the person who sent it, where they sent it from, who they are sending it to and where they expect the money to be picked up.


That is all you will need. You will NEVER be asked for your social security number. Think about it: how would the person sending you money know your social security number?

I said that the person picking up the money has to provide their Social # for the money to be given to them. The sender also has to give their Social # to send. I didn't say that you have to give it to the other party, but the WU representative.
