Im sorry for asking, but what is a tag and how do i use it?

A tag is something used to find a post faster, you could type in...let's say "SAM, THF, gil, ridill" along those lines, if you searched for any of those things it would come up because it's tagged for those words. so it helps to find posts better and more accurately.

Both guys are right, we use tagging for various things (particularly with middleman to track what's going on with orders), but anyone can use it to make searching etc. more effective. Just throw in related keywords, it should make future searches more optimal.
