I think i might have been scammed

Ok, so i sold my account via paypal, i get money first, then send account info, its all his. I checked my paypall account all my money is gone and now i have an open dispute and claim requiring my action. Is this guy stealing my account and there is nothing i can do about it>?

best thing you can do it go to sleep and call blizzard in the morning and get the account back. With paypal, there's like a 97.31% chance that you arn't getting your money back.

Thus, common knowledge exsists. If the person has horrible grammar, and/or sounds like a little kid; its either a chinese scammer, or lol, a little kid trying to scam

It's retarded how easy it is for people to have their paypal accounts stolen. I see it ALL the time.

I can confirm this as well, paypal does not handle disputes well normally the customer will always get their money back. When I used to buy and sell console games at a mass level I've had a couple lost sales through paypal because of that reason alone.

The buyer only gets their money back if you fail to reply to the claim, AND if they use a chargeback or unauthorized transaction dispute. Unauthorized transactions don't guarantee they will win, but a chargeback often will.

I'd rather not go into too much detail about the in's and out's of Paypal, as the more people know about Paypal loopholes and techniques, the more scams they can produce. It's a double edge sword. Tell the ethical people how to defend yourself using paypal and you will rarely be scammed again. Hint to the scammers these same techniques and you can scam people all day long successfully.

In your situation, there's a 100% (ok 99.9%) chance you will win the dispute so long as neither above two methods are used against you, and you reply to the claim accordingly.

That may be true for some situations, but even when I answered the disputes I was not given any feedback and just found charge backs, one of the many reasons I stopped large stock selling video games. It also happened to my brother when he was selling some history books, the chick said she never got the box and somehow my brother got a tab part of the box back that had the address on it. When going through the dispute after 2 weeks paypal just decided to grab the money out of his pocket. Sounds like she scammed him good because she would not take shipping insurance.
