IMO, Scaling prices will also scale priority. You can't affect one without the other. You would also need to consider that.. It would be definitely hard to please everyone.

As far as increasing MM available, i think it would be a good idea i guess. I myself feel i am able to handle the load. the only problem is that i am not available evenings. i do all my trades late night or early mornings. And unforeseeable events like today, i feel sick yesterday.. couldn't do much transactions..

Just wanted to add:
Let's say the following occurs.


Account Sale: 50$
Transaction Fee. 10$ ( example of a scale model)
Our payment processor will take out 10% of anything processed -1$
9$ total left over.. 1/2 goes to the website $4.50 overhead
4.50$ goes towards me... until my monthly processing fee gets deducted... i'd get a cool $4.05 for trading a 50$ account

Sorry to say , but i feel my time is worth a bit more then 4 bucks.



Personally, i wouldn't bother with 50$ accounts. If the account is not worth that much you could afford to forgo using MM service and deal with respective trustful members straight up. Anything above is 200$ is a respectable amount that should be guarded and insured using MM service.

Another problem with a scale system would be that a fee of $100-$300 isn't fair for accounts valued at $1,000 to $3,000 either, nor would we expect anyone to pay that.

Whether you have an account valued at $50, or one worth $5,000, there's still relatively the same amount of time involved verifying each account. Your purchasing a piece of mind using the service, but our overhead cost of using the service remains a constant regardless of fee price. The middleman time involved doesn't increase, or lessen from account to account, which means he can't verify a $50 account any faster than a $5,000 account. This won't equate to time savings or overhead reduction simply because it's a less valuable account.

It's not really a discount middleman service. It's a middleman service. A question to ask is do you feel your risk of a $50 account justifies spending $30 for service, or would it be best to use the service as insurance against a few hundred, or a few thousand dollar account?

So in the case of a $50 account, would I use middleman service? Not likely. But then again I have yet to see an account come through which has sold that for that inexpensive of a price. Those prices don't seem to be typical, nor have I processed an account yet at those prices.

I was going to say the same as kendrah. It costs us exactly the same to handle any account, so the scaling idea is difficult. I can't see how it would work, given that we've been told before by various people they wouldn't middlemen for less than $30 anyway.

I believe genuine buyers and sellers would love to use this service. Availibility is a key issue however, as a seller i would like to dispose off my account before the buyer changes his mind or goes elsewhere.

Well the idea I have will put the onus on sellers to be proactive about trading, thus meaning there is only one short verification delay (in most cases) on the part of the middleman, which should speed things up dramatically. More details to come.

I agree with the general concensus. $30 is very fair. i can't see myself being here to pick up a cheap account, so it would be a small percentage. I also think 36 hours is long, but as long as everyone is aware of it, and kept updated of the transactions progress i don't think it's a problem.

You believe the middleman service for free? Are you out of your mind? We already provide this marketplace for free to everyone to use - I think that's fair enough considering we do all the marketing and the hard work of pulling both buyers and sellers into the community.

Our middleman service is a premier service at a very affordable cost. I think any legit EGS member is out of their mind if they don't think spending $30 is just to protect an investment of $100+ or an account worth $100-$1000+.
