Hello - quick question

In the "Comprehensive middleman information" process it mentions giving the buyer the account information once payment has been confirmed (step 10). How does this work when only 1 item is being sold and not everything else on the character?

Any input/advice or clarification in what to expect from the process is greatly appreciated.

There's two ways to handle this, as I've done it both ways.

1.) You can provide the account login details to the middleman, and they will change the password. At that time the middlman will coordinate the remainder of the process, usually resulting in the delivery of the item to the buyer after payment is received, through your character. The middleman will then release the account back to the seller after the trade is made.

2.) If the middleman has an available character or mule, they can take transfer of the item through trade. At that time they can coordinate the remainder of the process and trade accordingly.

Im unfamiliar with server transfer procedures so must I find a buyer on the server that my character is on or is there a way to market my items to players on all servers? (FFXI)

Depends on how you market your item. The middleman won't take care of a world transfer, but once you and your buyer agree on a world to meet within, then the middleman can take over.

If you market your item as no transfer available, a potential buyer may come to your world and pick up the item. You most likely won't get premium dollar for the item, as they have to do the work, and it costs $25 each transfer they use.

If you have transfer available, you can probably pull a premium price since you can offer the convenience of delivering to all servers.
