The Outside World

I really hate how in Guild Wars, if you're not in a group, you're all alone in the outside world battling and running from monsters.

I really think that Guild Wars should change this feature and allow many players to play in the outside reasons WITH each other, without the necessity of being in a group.

What do you guys think?

I'm pretty sure they are doing that, for guildwars 2

One of the main reason people play GW is becouse you get your own instance outside of every town, that's one of the benifits of the game. if you want 100% player interaction, play WoW.

Actually one of the main reasons people play GW is because there are no monthly charges.

My main reason was instances, the no monthly fees was a big plus as well. From what I hear they at least fixed where if you D/C'd you were out of luck in joining back where you were - that was always annoying when on missions with people.

The DC feature is very nice, especially when you get an instant reconnect in something like Halls or Random Arenas (in the pvp realms). I agree with Monarch about the non-instance play to an extent. While it would be nice to have some people helping you out and taking out the solo factor... the lag has always bothered me with non instanced games. Seems like you go to do something and have a single person with a horrid ping, and your game goes to garbage.

Like everything it's an opinion, I can't call either gametype better.

I dunno how that has happened to you before since most of the lag with mmo's is clientside not serverside so it wouldnt affect you.

I play the game for its purely skill-based PVP, where your PvE (even PVP, except for the experience) achievements and titles will not give you an advantage over someone who has just started the game.

If everybody would get the same map there would be no more farming (well the thing that is left of farming).
The monsters in normalmode should be double as tough as they are in hard mode now (and most ofthem should be bosses).SIpmy because most mobs are adjusted to 2-8 players
