Alright guys, don't talk about bots or plugins in-game, such as FFXIApp or Windower etc. XD You will get sent to in-game jail and your account may be banned as a result, depending on the decision of the GM.

See this is what happened. A nub FFXI player was jealous that I was PLing myself because I signed up under FFXI's 14-day free trial and am trying to restart the game entirely from scratch. Anyway, the nub was mad and called me a b:tch in /shout. I slapped him, he slapped back etc. He obviously started it and was talking sh:t from the beginning. He was all mad etc and then said he was calling GM and started talkin 'bout how my PLing account was paid. It obviously was so then I started BSing saying it wasn't paid and he's a nub and to make it look better I just told him I was playing 2 chars on the same account. He said that's impossible (it's not) but since he's a nub I just said I was using a plugin to play 2 chars on the same account.

Well basically I logged out because I was bored and the nub was making me mad. I didn't think I would get in trouble since GMs can look in chat log and see that he started it calling me a b:tch in /shout but I forgot this is Square-Enix and the whole company is ran by nubs so I log in the next day to see I'm in-game jail for the GM to not care about the nub starting it cursing me out because I said I used a plugin. He didn't attend to my concern about the nub cursing me out and said I could have just blisted him. Well then I was like uhm then why did you answer his call then when he could have just blisted me? This is square-enix we're talking about and all GMs are nubs so yeah he contradicted himself and I made a point but he ignored me saying if I wanted to discuss that issue I'd have to call another GM for support, but I was in-game jail for one issue and that was using a plugin which I didn't.

Basically told him there was no plugin being used and I BSed the nub to get him off my back. I told him a plugin would have been detected anyhow. GM gave me a warning on my account since I mentioned plugin use even though I never used it. It was BS but at least the account didn't get banned. Oh and this only happened to my actual account my personal one not my PL account only because I mentioned the word plugin. It was BS but I took it since it was only a warning and it's nothing really. Just shows how Square-Enix is though...ridiculous.

Anyway though a fair warning to all just don't use the word bot or plugin in any of your chat because if you're reported you will get sent to in-game jail. From my many years (5-6) of playing FFXI I have realized it's very easy to BS a GM. They're quite stupid and you can get away with anything as I've been doing over the years.

Well that's all. If you ever get sent to in-game jail just make a post within this forum and I as well as many RMT FFXI players will help you get out. It's not hard at all.
