FFXI lvling system

the new lvling system in ffxi sounds very nice to have, but will it lower the value of having multiple 75's on an account since, ppl can now lvl a lot easier? the value of accounts is already increadibly low, so i dont see it dropping much, just a thought

I'm curious how relic weapons will work. I would imagine thats a lot of coding...
any my favorite of it all is it saves me from having to read "Cannot Change Gear" a million times because of macro's cause we keep the same gear!!!!!!!!

FFXI accounts are expensive compared to other games, just because of how difficult the current leveling system is, which is also one of the reasons for the game's recent decline in players over the years..

Hopefully this new leveling system, if true to SE's word, will attract more/new players, and get the game as popular as it once was. At the moment, the gameplay is awfully dull and repetitive, and it's a real b:tch trying to level up new jobs that become available, even if it is just for fun.

To be honest I dont think it will affect the lvling system. This just means people of higher lvl can lvl with friends of lower level. Cause to be honest I would not want to be on merit mode in the dunes with my 75 RDM lol maybe to help out a friend I would but no 1 in their right mind would do that. After 50 you get a larger EXP cap and another 1 down the road( i forgot where). so I dont see it messing up the lvling system, I just see it bringing friends together.

well exp @ 75 in merit pt can be the best exp there is, w/o some extreemes like a 5x soboro sam/rng +COR pt with PL @ lvl 55 (might be short on mobs in most camps) ...



you will have the option of picking a very high DD pt with PL in the 20-55ish range, & keep brd mule & just dlvl it constantly ...

keep in mind you will become extremely underskilled by the time u hit 75, it is much quicker to skill up doing quests for ppl & helping LS, (& a lot more fun) than lvling to 75 in slower pt's, or waiting to be invited all the time

the main speed factor here is less time waiting for pt, & much easier making pts, and being able to chose camps much easier, perhaps SE will integrate a skill up system to where u can still skill up at lvl caps, rate based on your current lvl, to mobs current lvl

Honestly my fovorite part of new system will be level synch now you can level a lower level job, and EQUIPMENT on hl players is just scaled down, no need for low level gear on mules anymore to help friends level or vice versa.
