Are you a player of XBOX 360 with FFXI? Did you buy an account here and THEN come to realize it already has an xbox live account linked to it? Well read on my friends this is the most simple way to fix your quandry!

So at this point you might be asking yourself
"Hooksta4, how do I unlink the current tag without even knowing it? let alone without the CDKEY's?" well here you go.!!!

So heres the thing, you log onto your 360 make a new xbl account and try to link it and it says something like yada yada cant link this xbox live account with this playonline ID, or the most famous one, this xbox live account does not have a link associated with it please log in with a different account blah blah blah. Well problem solved. However there are a few pieces of information you need. Most of it can be obtained from membership and services.

1. Registered User, address, birthdate all that jazz that can easily be found in the members service part of PoL.
2. Previous Credit card first 4 and last 4 of the CC.
AH HA you say. "How the hell do I get the previous credit cards first 4 you say? Well we all know the last four is shown in members and services. SO HERE IS YOUR SOLUTION:
Borrow your grandma's credit card, change the account info to her credit card, then change it to yours! its that easy now you have the first 4 and last 4 of current and previous!
** note, it can be your spouse's or another one of your cards really, just anyones card you know the first 4 and last 4.
3. Now the tricky part. YOU HAVE TO CALL SE!. Hopefully you get some cool dude cause the chicks there SUCK! they are mean. (at least all the ones ive dealt with are) (and if your a PoL phone person YOULL NEVER FIND ME!) as I was....
You tell them you dont have the cdkeys.. they are gonna say they need to talk to their manager... this is just to throw you off, they are going to give you the exception, tell them whatever you want how you lost them it doesnt really matter. They will ramble on about how they wont do it again, yada yada, and they will ask for all the information outlined in step 1. They will then ask you step 2. But since you have grandma's first four and last four and obviously you have your CC info and voila! you can now add your 360 gamer tag next time you log on.
**Note: the main thing when talking to SE is to be cool and relaxed!!!

Step 4. "Be kind rewind"
If you decide to sell your account please pass that info along, When you make that 360 account be a big boy/girl and create one that's sole purpose is to play ffxi. Doesnt matter if you have a gamer score of 89fafillion gagillion yen, pass it on to your buyer. Email address, password and xbl username. (they can be different) so that your not a blue falcon, (those of you that are in the same line of work as me know what that means)

I tried this and they asked for the previous one before all of the new cards I added.

hmmm thats weird, i just did it the other day and it worked like a charm.. maybe they have changed policy? did you change the card twice then call them?

wow, very useful info, I actually bought a latop last year to 2 box a frineds account but there were times I wished I could have used one of them on my xbox but the not linked to gamer profile;

Yeah, I added My card, My mom's card, and my dad's card.. or is that too much times to change it?

nah it shouldnt matter, like I said you need to have all the account info found in the membership option as well. Im kind of curious, PM me with what they said and we go from there. Or post it, doesnt matter. I personnaly think its crap that you can only play on 360 with 1 account.

If you don't know the first and last numbers what happens? Everything stays as is? Or do they lock your account?

Hmm my RL friend gave me an account and when I called them they told me I need the Keys, and I rambled on but they didn't give me any slack =(

Alright. What if I were to say this, "I lost my keys when I moved to my new house. However, I do have my WoTG keys, if that helps any?"

Do you think that that might help the fact if they tell me I need the keys?
