Starting over?

Man this game is soo addicting, but i'm so bored with it,

I wonder what it would be like to start over from scratch.....

think it would be any fun? ^^

Yes and no. I tried once, and it was peaceful, but then I thought omg what about G1-G5? I have to do that crap all over again. >.<

lol i've done it a few times but not to any high degree, lvl 75 few missions etc, but always PL'd myself, & never did too much with it as far as main char

It would be a little fun depending on what jobs you lvl (Blm, Sch, Rdm all are fun to lvl solo) but if you intend on partying, good luck seems like endless noobs nowadays :P

I find it very fun. I'm leveling a new account now because I have a free months worth. People in valkurm dunes and stuff are WAY more fun than merit people. By time people start meriting and hit 75 they turn into idiots, well some do so no offence, (im a 6 75 myself lol), just some people think they know everything, bitch bout everything, they like "omg this sam was like /20 rng, whata fuck head" so annoying, whereas noobs dont have a clue and talk about real life stuff, interesting things, then make funny mistakes lol If you dont have a PL it can be annoying, luckily I can PL myself 24/7 so I can make my own pt's full of DD's or DDMAGES, so it can be easy. Gunna see how far I get in my month trail.


Its been 4 yrs since I've done windy missions, or any missions, or quests, my main has 10 rank on all nations, and pretty much lives in whitegate day after day. So doing things over that I havent done for yrs, brings back old memories.

Iv'e done it once and quit that char at around lvl 12. It got tedious leveling again and doing quests again and rank...not my thing.

i to have done this and was not for me to do all the mission and quests again i would probably rip my hair out, well got to lv17 and took the char to jeuno and left it there as a mule.

I think the only good way to start over is if you're in a situation like mine. I got a high level account and I'm starting over on a completely different account.

I've done all the cheap ways to get fame. It's only lv 22blm and i got whitegate access, all mog exist and level 5 fame in each nation (not sure bout jeuno works out differenly).

Took bout 5 days. I used 50 stacks of millioncorn, which took me high, then i farmed the beads which also incrased my norg game, to 3, done that easy, done some other easy quests such as warp, drain, etc. I can even do teleports.

Most of the stuff I can solo on my Main and just let my second lot it. I'm probably going to level 3 jobs up (brd, blm, nin) then sell it. Not bad. I also program so I can make some quick scripts to do some automatic stuff for me, like trading all the millioncorns, I could go afk n let it do it.

I know all the easiest ways around things. Taking a job 1-20 takes bout a day for me. All I do is in VD invite 6 people, /sit my character and PL myself whilst playing xbox or watching films/videos on internet or doing my job XD occationally.

Plus I've met some nice people. Noobs are always better than high level people for the pure fact they're unknowledged. High level people just bitch bout other people and the game, whereas noobs just talk bout rl stuff thats interesting or even have a laugh lol met some decent people.

I'll have to see how long I last and see how long it takes me to get to 3 75's.

Only on 3 days playtime atm. Just hit it.

hehe i can multi-box pretty well but it gets boring quick

well my record in full day with melee job PL'd is 1-30, so if i had all day to play 7 days a week, take an account with 1 75 & all jobs active etc. etc.

can get all SJ's to 37 in 60 days or less, now, assuming all jobs are 37 that's 19x 37-75

now with proper PLing & luck with parties, & good bst pet soloing, each job 37-75


37-45 1 day, 45-52 1 day, 52-60 1 day (colibri ftw), 60-65 1 day, 65-68 1 day, 70-73 3 days, 73-75 1 day

9 days to get each so 171 days @ 16/hr day 2,736 hrs or 114 days playtime is required to get an already 75 job with full jobs unlocked & enough rare/ex & other gear for all jobs to equip, to 20x75

it can be done in less overall time with luck, & more time with luck against, it requires a lot of experiance & skill at lvling, a Brd PL for lower lvls, & preferably BRD & Rdm PL for higher lvls

and no i have neither the time nor will to try this myself.
