Gil Buying

SO how many of you on this board have ever been banned or suspended for buying gil? I get so confused because SE seems so random with the bannings it performs and I have also heard that the lower profile buyers tend to get suspensions, is this correct?

since starting FFXI i've bought from RMT sites numerous times, i've probably bought 100m+ easy and never once been soo much as suspended, or warned in any way.

Yea me too lol, i've probably bought the same amount in gil, I use windower also and i've never been banned. as long as u keep mouth shut and don't do anything a RMT would do u will be fine

Ive bought my share of gil, but I know people who were 2 month suspended and temp banned for buying gil and its because they bought extermely large accounts. For instance a friend of mine (Who was a poor ass 75 Blm) bought 40Mil of an RMT site and FFXIAH was full of his name buying up everything. He never farmed, was a uber noob, and bragged around about how much gil he had. Basically someone who didn't like our LS snitched on him and bam, 2 months banned and loss of all gil. Bummer but the moral of that story is SE only bans for 3 reasons, 1.) Someone Snitched on you (Via GM Call, KI or BG Forums), 2.) You were a bragging idiot, 3.) They just don't like ya ass :P

i dont buy gil anymore unless its to resell,

never buy from RMT site they are always expensive as hell, wish ida realized this years ago

It's clean, you can't get caught obviously unless you stated where it's from online. A good ol fashioned "a mule quitting the game gave me gil n stuff" often leads to an unarguable deffense how you gotten rich

i'd say at least 50-90% of the time that person bought gil, so its not an unarguable defense, as an admition of buying gil........ still that chance that it actually happend means there's nothing anyone can really say about it, just dont admit to buying or brag too much about being rich in game.

People who work for the gil dont act the same as people who buy it, at least when the topic is up.

Well i must say, iv never been caught buying gil either. its pretty easy to get around really, like said just don't buy form rmt sites, and always have an excuse, oh and if worse comes to worse, i should think, try to go to big to fast if your really nervous and buy stuff form bazzars lol.

i bought tons over the years and always from RMT sites. never been caught. I've also used fishing bots and the only time i got caught was when i was stupid and let it run while i was out of town over the weekend. still didn't get banned. GM warped me to MH took my fishing rod (thank god i was using a new acount and cheap rod) and left a warning message
