Is there any way to find out if the seller that sells you an account doesn't know, if the account u got has been linked to an XBOX gamer tag and if not is there anyway to change the gamer tag?

This is a great question. I am interested in the answer to this question as well. I play on xbox primarily and have an account I cannot use on my xbox because it is linked to a gamertag I cannot get the info for.

Once it's linked to an account, it's permanent. You can even call Xbox and they did nothing for me. The only way to fix it is pray that the seller doesnt have an actual gamertag (i.e. make a side gamertag other than your Live Gold tag for your FF account). That way you can tell the buyer the email and password so they can play too through the recover gamertag function.

You can call PoL and try to get them to unlink it, you'll need some info about the account though.. CC info, Name, and regestration Keys
