what is your favorite job

as post asks what's your favorite job? i think mine would have to be nin pre nurf lol but now i'd say war. though i haven't had plesure of doin sam yet. still in the market lol.

Mine is a tossup between smn and blm. I'm not sure what you mean about the nin nerf. I know a nin who solo tanked Byakko without getting hit, and this was recent (took some shadows, but never got hit). The only job I've ever seen take hate off of him was a merited, black belt mnk. I remember when rng got the shaft awhile ago, but they fixed that (velocity shot and flashy shot for example). Sam got buffed like crazy.

I'm playing nin right now. Nin is a pretty fun job but I also have a war/sam/rng/smn. I recently played with my war after 3 months of playing it was pretty fun. For me its a toss up between sam/rng. Smn is fun to when I want to solo some Nm's.

Paladin! I love Paladin! It's so much fun. You can wear some of the coolest and best armor in the game, you are the center of attention much of the time, as the mob is supposed to be attacking you and if you screw up, then everyone likely dies. Also, with the right equipment set-up, you can be a pretty decent DD (I know that with Excalibur you can out-parse a BB monk or a Ridill warrior, but that's with a fully upgraded relic, so not a very common thing), and if you go /RDM in Ballista, you kick butt.

Personally I always loved the fact that a nin in this game was a tank. So I guess my fav is nin. Oh and monk too cuz they just thrash =). Anyway haven't played this game in so long and seeing all these people talk about it makes me want to again =D.

I love ninja 100%, the nerf doesnt bother me, its no biggy, but I believe SE with ninja are defaintly trying to "control" us, we use Ninja for tanking, and we will never change that, yet they give Paladins updates and stuff. There need to be new job abilities to allow like Higher enemity for 30 seconds or something, something to just help keep the hate for a little longer, it's not so bad in merits, u first voke and thats it, but in lower pts that fights last a couple of minutes, it can be tough.

It's very easy to straight tank byakko as ninja if you're fully hasted, so your ichi is 15 seconds and ni is 22 seconds, its fun as hell though knowing ur taking on a god without getting hit, ninja is very powerful.

PLD will always be my first love, it gets the merits that my other jobs provide it.
MNK was my whore. Brought it out when I needed, tossed it aside when I didn't.
NIN is my workhorse. It gets the gear that goes on my PLD.

My favorite job is BLM, the main reason is I FEEL SO GOOD WHEN I DO 2300dmg + on Nidhogg

MNK is my favorite job, cuz is fund, and a lot of HP, quick hits, can heal with chakra, counter, guarding, kicks, my second job is THF, to farm, i love to use SATA, and the third will be RDM, still lvl up, has a lot of mp and get PT instantly.
