| Is it too late to get into this game? I mean i have heard mixed answers. some people are telling mit is impossible to get a group together under 60. others tell me it's not. One more question is it better to get the 360 or pc version of the game? And If I traded someone my Wow account for a high leval XI account how hard would it be to get used to the game?

| I would assume if you're looking for an account on here you won't need to worry about low lvl stuff, but you can always find lower lvl pt's to lvl something. Just because somebody has a high lvl job doesnt mean they're never going to lvl anything else. Shouldn't be too hard getting used to the game, its easy to pick up. Just have to start learning where places are and whats there when you get there. PC version is deffinately better than 360 as far as graphics. Of course you have less to worry about as far as hacks with 360 though since its a platform.

| i dont really think its too late 2 get in it. Also 360 lags but great graphics and its not hard 2 learn how 2 play it. most of the game is great and simple but at 75 it gets fun with HNM,Limbus,Salvage etc

| I dont think its ever too late for FFXI (look at EQ). Thing with FFXI is even when it first came out you needed to have patience. Sometimes takes alot of patience to wait for PT some days it doesnt. If you bought a high lvl FFXI account and never played FFXI before and try to PT with others you are going to be spotted out pretty quickly. My advice would be to try to read up or watch videos on the class you bought so you could try to fit in as much as possible. You wouldn't want to be labeled a bad player then that makes it even harder to get a PT. Anyway Good Luck Lee

| I agree with above poster about being labeled as a bad player. If you are leveling a low level job at the beginning of the game, there are things that indicate that you are a new player. You have a little emblem next to your name, you have no subjob, you are rank 1 and you are limited to a certain selection of jobs. If you are brand new and trying to level a job in a party with a bunch of level 75's, or you are starting a new job but you have subjob and you're rank 10 and other things that indicate you are a veteran, people are going to immediately recognize your lack of skill/familiarity with the game and either label you as a terrible player or an account buyer. I would recommend starting a new account, and leveling through all the way to 75. This will get you very familiar with the mechanics of the game and allow you to more easily transition into a much better account. Perhaps level White Mage or Red Mage on your new account so that if you decide to buy a better account to eliminate some of the work involved in having an elite account, you can still have a second "Powerleveling" account for any new jobs that you want to level.

| Console gaming/console MMORPGs is way better than PC, IMO. I love having a controller in FFXI (bought a PS2 controller for PC version but it's not the same IMO). I think you'd like the Xbox 360 version better. It really depends what server you get on. The game is "dying" - it's not at its peak anymore and most of the players that still play all have high level characters. There are still n00bs, don't get me wrong, but I found that some servers have more n00bs than others (an increased chance of finding parties and leveling up). Of course, if you buy a high level account, you'll have nothing to worry about. There's usually 3,000 players at least on at a time on each server, and a good majority - not high majority - are high levels. If you don't know how to play, I'd suggest getting a feel of your character and class through soloing and doing quests and other missions. Allakhazam.com is a good site for FFXI guides, mob info, class info, etc.

As far as it being to late to play ...I'd say no. I've left and come back so many times I've lost count but I always seem to come back. Sometimes with accounts intact and other times starting over from scratch and I've always seemed to get by just fine.
