Free Trial?

Did FFXI ever release a free trial? I can't seem to find anything anywhere about one, anyone know?

Only codes within the game you purchase at the store. Usually they have one invite a friend bonus card.

I also think you can get a "starter pack" for 2.99 which is just the original game (no RoZ or later)

I don't remember where/how but I heard that somewhere, for what its worth

yeah i was guna say they have the 2.99 trial version with no expansions at any game stop.

Doesint FFXI give you 30 day free trial or somthing? Try finding that or somthin but i think u need a pass or somthing. but i think u buy it or somthin im not sure. but if u have to buy it then it aint a free trial lolz GL tho

You get 30 days of free play with the purchase of the game. Calling that a free trial is debatable since you do have to purchase the game in order to play. In other words your first months fees are waived.

Also I think Gamestop has the $2.99 trial discs which I think allows you to download the core client and play free for a few days.

Yes there is free trails, but its not worth it. Might as well buy after waiting that long ass time (excuse my language) for that update, you might as well had them pay you.
