I'm sure even then sometimes they do cancel the item even if you say its a gift card or you're buying paper with the account information written on. I remember lots been taken down even using this method. The method I've notice work over the years (not done myself), is people saying their selling a card with the following information on: then they link to another site, or they link to a photobucket picture with detail of the account, ebay won't always click external links. I've seen it work a lot.
