They provided some interesting information at least. Yet, it just goes to show what lengths people will go. While they might have had some good intentions in writing the thread it could very easily also been a write-up just to gain more trust with whomever. Ah... it really is unfortunate.
With all of these ups and downs and hardships with SE it's crazy. I could see SE turning this around and profiting off of it some themselves if they were wise. I know it is too much to ask for, seeing such a thing come to fruition. Such as charging a certain fee to the seller of the account and/or the buyer and SE themselves being a middleman party of sorts. We wouldn't be here then either of course having this kind of conversation hahah
I am sure that there must be some way to make a much more solid trade but that ground is hard to find too... when it comes down to securing every little bit necessary to purchase an account and all the nooks and crannies a seller would have to go through to make sure no money is carried away from them.

When you trade an account, basically, there is always 1 person that will have the last resort, either by charging back his/her credit card or by reversing the account. Unfortunately its impossible to have a 100% perfect account trade mechanism. If the seller has a lot of reputation, thats the best and hardest to replicate, so thats what I look for.

I've just published an eBook containing all my tips and tactics I use to verify the users I deal with. For those that are brand new, or inexperienced and uncomfortable with verifying their trade partners, this might be something you could be interested in.

The concept is to take years of my experience and fine tuning, and toss it into one downloadable format to use. Granted it's not free, and it did take a very long time to develop a successful process, but I think overall it's going to help a number of people that choose to look into it. As staff members here on the site, there's so little we can do to help you guys one on one, as everyone's education in this industry is at different points, and there's always someone new entering this industry asking the same type of questions.
