That is the post where he is supposedly selling 100 million gil for $800.

I spoke with him 2 days ago concerning the gil he had for sale. I mistakenly closed that IM window without saving the log file. But the summary is after a dozen or so insults directed towards me he calmed down a bit and talked about how everyone is a scammer from the admins of this site to the chinese RMT admin from ckgaming. It was then that I explained to him why I got into the middleman business. Afterwards his tune changed completely, you would have swore the guy wanted to be my friend. Well after a few minutes of small talk he started to beg me to send a request to the admins of this site to add him as a middleman too. He said he really wanted to help get rid of the scammers and take care of the legit people...guess basically giving away gill isn't enough of a good deal for this man!

During our conversation he also said that he didn't care if people bought his stuff or not because he had, "tons of cash", apparently these "tons of cash" come from a $15 an hour job at an Inn somewhere. He then goes on to tell me that he needed to move the gil fast because there was an account he wanted to buy for $1500 and he needed the money. I guess "tons of cash" is less than $1500...

After telling him I would put in a good word with him for the middleman position, which I didn't, just to get him to leave me alone I went home for the day.

At home I talked to him again about the gil. I will admit, I was slightly interested, but mostly just tired kicking. I remembered the saying, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't true". He started going on how Feiwong was trying to scam him out of a DRK account he had for sale or something...then we started on the gil subject again. Mind you he only takes WU because of all of the scammers, guess it takes one to know one. Well I'm willing to buy gill for $8/million. Hell who wouldn't be? It was then he told me he actually had 241million. Then he gives the supposed actual amount, which was an amazingly quick response considering he had told me he was slow because he was busy playing Counterstrike. Oddly enough he would sell me the whole 241mil for $1500...

The story gets a lot better, I hope you have clicked out yet...lol

I ask if there is anyway I can use Paypal. He says he trusts me, but he still won't use paypal. After a few minutes he says that his paypal is locked because he sent too much money without giving them his SS# or something like that. I've checked and I can't seem to find any procedure that would indicate the truth of that, maybe I'm missing something.

Finally I offer to make a transaction. I want to send him $80 via WU for 10million gil. I want to do this just to get some good trade going. Neither one of us would be hurt that bad by a bad deal at that level....that was my thought. We go back and forth a bit about how much for how much and he starts getting upset. The conversation falls apart into the childish style of rant you see above.

So there is my take on SeaMonster/Zero/gillsellerlol. I'm not going to say if he's a scammer or not. But I will say he is by far the most disrespectful, immature person I've dealt with on these boards so far.

You can always see if a paypal account is locked, just make a payment for $1 or something and do cash advance, on the next screen it will say the person can't receive money or it will ask you to confirm the payment. If there is no message, just cancel the transaction and no money lost. Too many people try to pull the whole account locked issue - most are false, but it does frequently happen.

This seller gave me absolutely no reason to trust him when i talked to him via AIM. I wish i had saved the conversation. I'm willing to give most the benefit of the doubt but this was too fishy. I honestly would rather pay more for someone i trust.

In my crossings, if someone is selling anything very cheap, it's usually because it's a scam attempt, or they've scammed someone and need to move the product quickly (kind of like hot radios swiped out of a car). Either way is completely unethical.

Lol, speaking of radios, I had these two teens pull up to me about a week ago saying they "JUST got this free radio from work", and they needed to sell it fast. I was thinking to myself, "Do you know Feiwong?"
