How many of you guys enjoy the new Epic 1.5 and 2.0 that Sony has implemented into the new Expansions of EQ?

Some of them are okay. Well written storylines, decent difficulty level (at least when they were current), and nice items (again, when they were current). Some of the chest loot is pretty darn good too. Many of them look awesome as well (wizard, warrior, cleric, ranger, monk, etc).

As far as doing them? I'd rather a root canal. But that has little to do with the quests themselves as much as it's an issue of playing on an underpopulated server (like most of EQ's are) and thus, having difficulty getting the necessary manpower to get through the fights. I've been trying to remedy the situation by getting accounts that would allow me (with my niece and sister-in-law) to get them done a bit easier. But finding moderately developed characters that fit the restrictions I have to deal with is a lot harder than I thought it'd be.

EQ is dead, and EQ2 seems to be dying as well. It hasn't even been up for long and it's almost gone. Wow has taken over

EQ is not dead, EQ2 is not dead. They do just fine and if they were not profitable they would shut down the game or more servers. WoW is too easy and cartoony. EQ and EQ2 are the top games at Sony. You don't have to have 11 million juvies to have a good and profitable game.

Actually it's lost some people but to the point most of those people were much younger players so it's actually kinda nice that they are gone.

does monk have 1.5 and 2.0 epic...? and are they worth it? 1.0 epic seems like its gonna take foreverrrrr to do.. :-P

Their not dead, their striving to live quite well. Although they don't have as many servers as wow, their still alive and running.

All classes have a 1.5 and 2.0. The monk 1.5/2.0 looks like 3 flying cookies rotating around your hand. It's a pretty decent epic from the links I've seen, but thenseveral expansions have come since then so there may be better available from a top end zone somewhere.

Monk rotating cookies own. Self heal every few minutes is nice.
