New FFXI automated account banning system

just learned about this today.. SE has implimented a tool that will detect unusual trades bazaar buys and monitors all accounts... while i couldnt get them to talk about it they did say it will start to randomly ban account with "Unusual activity".. so what the big deal? deal is they will ban it and ask for a photo copy of your driver's license and go from there. So just be aware of this new tool that detects a whole bunch of stuff and will ban u.. some things i believe it will detect are... CC swaps.. Change in state address's. in game trades involving large amounts of gil( not certain how much) item trades of value....etc. So just be carefull traders.

Do you mind sharing where you got this information from? I don't see this possible at all. I mean people trade large amounts of gil every day. For one when I played, my linkshell leader would hold all the gil on his account till he got around 50mil then traded it to the linkshell bank mule. If they were to ban people for this they would lose alot of customers.

RMT-Pawner 133.7 is the programs name they annoced it last year.... like SE its writeen poorly and does not ban alot of people if done correctly. Tracking by changing address is stupid and they do not ban because people moved address... people do move houses :3 and CCs change all the time. But it is a good idea to buy a pre paid card what is nameless

Prepaid cards are the way to go i dont trust any companys billing system.

i spoke directly with a SE account manager who said they just updated it and it was put into service monday morning.. and yes many account will be banned and the ones people can show id for that its them on the aacount stays banned and thats what he told me soo..

After all that the legit users who were banned for credit card problems, I won't be surprised if something like this is implemented.

yeah this is serious brt...... i feel like ffxi account's and gil buying days are more riskier then ever... why buy a account for 500-1000 when there is a good chance it may get banned.... brt u know any ways maybe around this. When i talked to the head account manager he said this new update the tool will significantly change the way ffxi runs.
