When trading accounts what information should be passed both sides for utmost prevention of either party stealing back that account?

If someone were to trade me a FFXI account; what information should they be giving the middle man, and likewise what information should I give the middle man (concerning my WoW account)?

If they still have their registration codes can they still get back their account via a GM; is there a guarantee that the registration codes they give are real?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Yes, "your" service.

But I'd like to know about trading more. With security in mind, and what makes it secure to trade using the middle man service. What guarantees a safe trade, etc.

Nothing is guaranteed. Basically the account the buyer is buying is secured, verified, and released to the buyer after the seller receives payment.

The middle-man services was created for safety in mind, but yet we cannot guarantee it. The buyer will receive the item, and the seller will receive the payment. That's what the service ensures.

A lot of scams occur when a seller randomly IMs a buyer or sends them an email, and requests payment. For all the buyer knows, the seller in question may not even really have the account he/she is advertising for sale. The buyer can send him/her the money and never hear from the seller again, and receive nothing.

Like-wise, a buyer can randomly IM or email a seller and ask to verify an account before payment is made. The seller might agree to this and give the log-in information to the potential buyer to confirm the account. 15 minutes later, after no response from the potential buyer, the seller may realize he/she can no longer access their account, and it has been stolen.

Our middle-man service was created to prevent that and eliminate fraud during a transaction.

Not sure if my general question got lost in my original post, but I was wondering what information during an account trade is needed by each participating party in a trade, Cd keys/registration codes, username/password, etc. *And* does your service work with *trading* as well, not only buying and selling.

My example was if someone wanted to trade me their FFXI account, what information should they be giving me, to guarantee the safest possible* outcome of me obtaining that account.
