Who here posts on the BG, Allakhazam, or KI forums?

Just curious, who here is an active participate in either the Allakhazam, BG, or KI forums? This is only for my own curious mind, and you remain completely anonymous.

The theory is that Allakhazam, Killingifrit, and BG shun RMT, but let's be truthful, if you are a participate, please raise your "/".

We can not detect you. We will not know your character name, or even attempt to expose you. You are one of us. BUT, I'm curious, I personally believe about 90% of the people in FFXI buy gil, or accounts, or even items, while participating in these forums. I personally think most people that post on those forums are hypocrites. Do you participate in those forums and engage in so called "secondary market" purchases?

/ I'm on all 3 Allak, KI, BG. On Allak & BG the most. I've never bought any game currency (yet) but have been really good at making game currency in game "legitimately". Originally I saved up a lot for a FFXI mythic weapon, but after I saw the stats of the one I wanted, decided now was a good time to liquidate. It really was a tough decision for me to sell but with the economy in game & real life economy going the way it is, I feel it's almost stupid to let something so valuable rot away.

You learn very quick that RMT is everywhere and more just a way of life. In FFXI, I see RMT more as another type of player. Sort of like PC, NPC, & RMT and "all" people are in 2 categories. (Explain more on that later) Just like players, there's "good" RMT & "bad" RMT. In a way, I was tired of hanging out with hypocrites. It's impossible not to support RMT in FFXI. If you bought anything on the AH, you support them. Only way to not, is to farm everything yourself & trade among your peers & even that is debatable. But if mean if 90% actually bought gil then probably not. More then 1/10 people I run by don't have great High quality equip that cost less than 100K.

I was always more concerned with the game company itself. RMT are predictable. You know their trends & can usually guess their moves. But Squareenix ... you have no idea when they'll nerf a weapon, or job & you could lose your entire fortune right there. The FFXI Thief's Knife 15m pre-nerf & if you had one post-nerf you just lost like $500 or 15m gil right there. I have to admit I've been pretty lucky about avoiding nerfs.

Pish if RMT wern't monopolising shit in game players would be, for those that have played on Remora in days of Teeko look what he did with Behemoth, guy had 4 botted characters help him kill that thing everyday and financed 2 relics off it, then funnily enough sold his account, not sure if it was on here Apoc/Aegis Black haired Elvaan male...banned repeatidly...

Personally I can't stand FFXI forums, 90% of the player base are fakes in FFXI (which is fine w/e it is a role playing game after all, just not my cup of tea) and I can't stand the way people on those forums can be, especially in regards to RMT and other things. I play with friends that I met a long time ago in game, and they all know the way I am in regards to Buying gil/accounts, might not agree with it but atleast they're honest, you know... BG is good for one thing...finding out about updates as they unravel, that's it in my opinion anyway. Allah and KI are just a big joke. KI you say something you get flamed, Allah you go on it you get a virus. Win Win!

/ I've always been an active member on KI and Alla, especially since I've always been a crafter... even when I quit, I was still pretty active. And as far as BG goes, when I was on Bahamut I was active member of the BG forums, and now that I'm now.. Not much, but I peek around a little.
