new mythic weapons

Just thought i'd post this to see what people think. who here is starting the mythic weapon quests? I did some research and you need to have captain rank, and a 100 nyzul runic portal key to even start the first one these quests seem abit tough but i guess they're worth it i notice alot of players still working on getting the regular relic weapons and not many focusing on the new ones? Maybe this is why SE lowered the alexandrite count required to complete one of the quests. I'm still very far off to even starting the first quest i dont have captain rank and i need to focus on getting a nyzul static together to get the portal key. Whats your thoughts or concerns regarding these new weapons they seem interesting to say the least.

I'm working toward getting the White Mage mythic weapon. Most of the requirements are not too bad but I have no idea how anyone is going to complete the Alexandrite requirements. At the current pace I will complete all of the other requirements in about 3 months.

Yes, the alexandrite requirements were reduced to 30k pieces in the last update but even a good Salvage run still only gives about 120 pieces. Even if you do Salvage every day and get all of the alexandrite that drops from each run it would take about a year to collect 30k pieces. I think that is why very few people are seriously pursuing the new weapons.

I am hoping that SE will either drop the alexanderite requirements further or increase the drop rate to make it more in line with the other requirements for the quests.

I really wanna get the DNC or BLM mythic weapons. The only thing that's gonna be a pain in the butt is the 100k ampoule item and 30k alexandrite pieces ><

Working on runic key atm, got about 50k ampouls, cleared all salvage bosses, captain rank but no where near 30k alexandrite >_<
