2003 started online. Started playing games offline around age 4 with atari, but got big into it when they released dragon warrior for nes. The first dragon warrior that was included with the nintendo power subscription.

From that point on if I wasn't in school I was playing games. Practiced so much it put John Wendel's practice schedule to shame. A 16-20 hour day wasn't uncommon during the summer.

At age 12 I took 2nd place in the Blockbuster gaming tournaments when they were first introduced, falling behind the winner due to a technicality which resulted in reduced points. We had about three local game stores which rented games, and I played and beat every title they had available. After that occured, I learned to only buy rpg games because I could somewhat control the game at my own pace through character development. I literally did not buy anything other than rpg games because I beat games so quickly. I usually only rented due to this problem also.

The only game I hadn't beat up to that point was duck hunt I believe. I had a huge list of hundreds upon hundreds of titles I had beaten at that time, covering Nes, Snes, Genesis, atari, game gear, etc.

My goal is to one day face John in a championship tourney, but I'm unsure if I'm going to pursue that anymore. It's not so much a goal these days as much as it was a few years back.

The movie "The Wizard" wasn't that far off from the caliber of player I was at that time. Now I play games for entertainment and profit.

Started when I was 16 and I'm almost 20 now and still playing lol...

I started playing games when I was 4 years old, playing Duck Hunt with the gun pressed right up to the screen. That dog taunted me in my nightmares, I swear. I've been playing games pretty consistently for my whole life, and I am now 23. My first online game was StarCraft, and my first MMO was Final Fantasy 11. Lately I've been playing a lot of Team Fortress 2, as I have quit playing FFXI.

I started playing games a long long time ago back when the old Duke Nukem was 2d. Big into that and DOOM II. Then i kinda let it go and now i play games once in a while. Playing in the mornings makes for good hangover cures and is usually something to look foreward too after a lame day at school. Figure i started playing games around 7 or 8 and now i'm 17.

I can't remember when I started gaming. My parents gamed throughout my early years and got me into it. Now nearly 25 and still going... my first online game was PSO though. To this day, despite how repetitive it is, I still feel like picking it up from time to time. XD

I started when I was...16 or 17 maybe. I'm 24 now.... but I've been playing offline since I was at least 5 or 6 lol
